Founded in 1997, 888 Holdings (or the 888 Group as it’s also known as), was set-up in the British Virgin Islands by Avi Shaked, Aaron Shaked, Shay Ben-Yitzhak and Ron Ben-Yitzhak. Originally known as Virtual Holdings Limited, the 888.com brand wasn’t launched until five years later in 2002.

888 Holdings PLC is the owner of a large range of online casino, slot and bingo sites. They also own the exclusive B2B software platform Dragonfish.

According to 888 Holdings corporate website, the 888 Group’s business is made up of approximately 18% Sport, 16% Poker, 60% Casino (Slots) and just 8% Bingo.
